Step 1: Press the ON/OFF button

Step 2: Press the ENTER button to enter programming mode

Step 3: Press the P-U (UP) to select line (1-6) to save message in

Step 4: Press ENTER to confirm the line where the message will appear

Step 5: Press the P-U and P-D buttons to find the first character of your message, and press ENTER to save after each character selection. Note: space can be found after the letter Z.

Step 6: To finish, after you have selected the last character, wait until you see a blinking “A”, then press the ON/OFF to save the entire message.

You’re all set! Your message will now begin to scroll on the ticker.

Note: Do not leave the display on in the programming mode. Press either the P-U (DOWN) or the ON/OFF button to exit the programming mode.

How many different messages can I save?

You can program up to 6 different messages. Each message can contain up to 255 characters. You can scroll through these by pressing the P-U and P-D buttons when the display is turned on.

How long does the ticker run for?

After you’ve used the ON/OFF button to activate the display, it will run continuously for three minutes and then shut off to conserve power if no button is pressed.

How can I see the different messages already programmed?

P-U (Up) and P-D (Down) buttons allow you to see the different messages. Once the line you wish to keep appears, you do not need to press anything else.

I saved an incorrect character. Can I delete/edit or do I have to start my message over?

Deleting and editing are not currently possible. You will have to start your message over.

I entered the programming mode, but decided I don’t want to change my message. How do I go back to display mode?

If you want to stop programming while selecting the message number, press the P-D button to exit. To exit the character selection mode, press “ON/OFF”. Never leave the display on in the programming mode.

How long does the battery last?

The battery can last for over a year. It is operational for forty continuous hours meaning you can turn the ticker on over 500 times provided that you don’t leave it on in the programming mode.
